Hoje quero mostrar para vocês as fotos do smash the cake do Theo filho da Djennyfer Kock que caso você ainda não conheça, a Djennyfer é uma mamãe muito influente, com um trabalho lindo no Youtube e no Instagram. Eu tive o prazer de conhecer essa família linda no ano passado, fiz as fotos deles no natal e agora com o um aninho do Theo.

Mas eu quero aproveitar e te contar como funciona o processo das fotos de smash the cake.

Today I want to show you the photos of Theo’s cake smash, Djennyfer Kock’s son, that in case you don’t know her, Djennyfer is a very influential mom, with a beautiful job on Youtube and Instagram. I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family last year, I took their photos for Christmas and now I had the opportunity to take their photos again.

But I want to tell you how the cake smash photo process works.

Depois que eu e a mamãe juntas decidimos o cenário é hora de partir para as fotos. Eu sempre faço fotos da família antes de, dê fato colocar a criança pra se sujar no bolo, porém as fotos de família precisam ser rápidas para não cansar o bebê. Eles se cansam muito rápido.

A intenção aqui é capturar o máximo de fotos espontâneas e bonitas da família, essas fotos são feitas em 10 a 15 minutos no máximo.

After Mom and I have decided about the background, it’s time to shoot. I always take photos of the family before actually putting the child to get dirty in the cake. However, family photos need to be quick so as not to tire the baby. They get tired very fast.

The intention here is to capture as many spontaneous and beautiful photos of the family as possible, these photos are taken in 10 to 15 minutes maximum.

Depois de garantir as fotos da família é hora de colocar a criança próximo ao bolo. E sempre será uma surpresa, a gente não sabe se a criança vai gostar ou vai chorar. E acredite muitas delas choram, ou porque não gostam de se sujar, ou porque estão com sono, por isso é sempre bom escolher o melhor horário do bebê.

Enfim, com o Theo não tivemos esse problema, ele gostou bastante, mas antes de dê fato ver se a criança vai gostar ou não eu preciso estar pronta para tentar fazer o máximo de fotos possível no primeiro contato que a criança tem com o bolo.

Então eu fico preparada e o pai ou a mãe coloca a criança no cenário e aí, é so começar a fotografar.

And believe me, many of them cry, either because they don’t like to get dirty, or because they’re sleepy, so it’s always good to choose the best time for the baby.

Anyway, with Theo we didn’t have this problem, he liked it a lot, but before I actually see if the child will like it or not, I need to be ready to try to take as many photos as possible on the child’s first contact with the cake.

So I get prepared and the father or mother puts the child on the set and then, just start to shoot.

 

   

Às vezes é necessário pedir uma ajuda extra pra mamãe, para ela sujar a criança no rosto, isso faz parte do processo das fotos ????

Sometimes it’s necessary to ask Mom for extra help, so she can get the child dirty on his face, this is part of the photo process????

Depois de uns 30 minutos geralmente a criança já esta cansada e começa a levantar ou engatinhar em direção aos pais, aÍ percebemos que chegou a hora de encerrar a sessão. O mais importante aqui é que todos se divirtam e tenham lindas fotos.

After 30 minutes the child is usually tired and starts to get up or crawl towards the mom and Dad, then we realize that the time has come to end the session. The most important thing here is that everyone has fun and have beautiful photos.
